NSCRT Registration Fees
The NSCRT licensing year runs from April 1st to March 31st. A non-refundable $75 application fee
is required for new applicants - see exemptions below.

Annual Active-Practicing License Fee |
$525 annually (increased to $650 for the 2025-2026 license year)
New member fees are prorated at $45/month ($54/month after April 1, 2025) for remaining months of licensing year *RTs returning to NS or members who allowed their license to lapse do not qualify for the pro-rated fees. |
License renewal opens the beginning of February and must be completed by March 15th to avoid penalty. Once approved, license fees are non-refundable. |

Initial applicants | $75 | Application fee. Non-refundable. (Waived for applicants currently licensed in another regulated Canadian jurisdiction) |
Past deadline renewal fee | $50 | Members who do not renew prior to the March 15th deadline will be responsible for an additional processing fee. |
Reinstatement fee | $100 | Members who let their licence expire and reapply for licensure within the same fiscal year will be subject to a reinstatement fee in addition to the annual license fee. |
All fees are payable in Canadian funds. Payments can be made by one of the following methods:
- By credit card when application submitted online (preferred)
- Cheque payable to NSCRT (must be received prior to the March 15 deadline)
- Money order payable to NSCRT
