The NSRRT acknowledges that we are in Mi'kma'ki (MEEG-MA-GEE), the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq People. This territory and its 13 First Nations are covered by the "Treaties of Peace and Friendship"

Quality Assurance Program for Regulator Performance

The Nova Scotia Regulator of Respiratory therapy participates in the Government of Nova Scotia’s mandatory Quality Assurance Program for Regulator Performance (QAPRP), which supports accountability, transparency, and effective regulation across all regulated health professions. Quality Assurance results for regulated health professions are publicly posted by the Province to promote openness and strengthen public confidence in self-regulated health professions in Nova Scotia.
